the sense of smell
These commercials aired on NBC on February 20th, 1982 1. Michelob (I’m guessing these Michelob ads were originally Super Bowl ads, because they’re totally epic and look really expensive) 2. Yamaha Virago (There were a ton of ads for motorcycles during this episode of SNL for some reason) 3. FedMart (With Elliot Janeway. Those jeans look terrible) 4. Cachet 5. Chevy Cavalier Type-10, Citation X-11 and Camaro Z28 6. “Private Eyes” by Hall & Oates (LOL Classic. It doesn’t seem like music is advertised on TV like this anymore) 7. Benylin (I don’t think my mom ever actually got this stuff for us, but I totally remember that cheesy art on the packaging) 8. Honda Nighthawk (“Nighthawk” sounds like an 80′s action drama) 9. C&C Cola (If this brand is still around I’ve never seen it) 10. “Saturday Night Live” Commercial Bumper 11. Promo for “Bob Hope’s Women I Love: Beautiful But Funny” (It was wise of them to change Bob Hope’s original title, “Funny Broads”) 12. Standard Shoe Stores 13. Wickes Furniture 14. Beech-Nut 15. News Center 4 Promo 16. Chevy Camaro (Amazing new wave style) 17. Denny’s 18. TV Spot for “Death Wish II” (Few things are more entertaining than watching Charles Bronson murder random criminals) 19. Jojoba Farms 20. Stanley Tools & Hardware 21. Suzuki
